Very nice experience. I have been a client of Gettel since the late 1900's. Always treated great. Had a 6 month check up.

The customer service provided was great, and when it is given by someone who speaks your first language (Spanish) is amazing. I got there and the car was taken care of almost as soon as I stepped out of it. I waited for an hour for the oil change to be done, not bad at all.

My experience was indeeded pleasurable; however, due to the rain we couldn't really test other cars but we came out with a 2026 a bit smaller then exoected

Service is great, people are helpful, really hate having to pay an addl fee for using a credit card to pay for a large repair bill.

This is my 6th vehicle from Gettel Toyota in the past 14 years. 5 at the original Gettel on 41 in Bradenton and one at Gettel Superstore in Sarasota on Bee Ridge. Great experiences at both. Sales staff are professional and go out of their way for you. This time I was looking for a newer vehicle than my original purchase, not brand new. Found exactly what I wanted and in budget. Great selections for new and used. Gettel’got it!! Highly recommend them.

They are the stereotypical car dealer! Slimy, deceiving, deceptive, SKETCH xx so RUN far and fast away from here. Someone in Florida is driving a 2013 Chevy Cruze that was illegally sold by this dealer. You are driving a car that was not legally theirs to sell. I have the original title in New York as well as the original dealer key and the NYS DMV also confirmed the illegal transaction! The dealer knew I wasn’t happy with a trade deal. The deal was eventually restructured and the trade was to be returned and replaced with a cash deposit of $1,500. I advised them I was coming to pick up my car and drive the 1,450 miles home. I purchased a one way flight from NY on Saturday. The following Tuesday the paperwork was restructured, Wednesday I worked until noon and flew to Florida to pick up the car. Uber’d to dealer arriving around 5pm bringing home made cookies and chocolate chip cream cheese cupcakes as a peace offering for the multiple emails, texts and redos on the paperwork. Apologized profusely for all the back and forth on the contracts. Was made to sign a gifting form for the $1,500 deposit, then a manager came in, shut the door and proceeded to tell me they sold the Cruze! I thought they were lying? WHAT, you sold my car? The one I came 1,450 to drive home? They gave me that famous line “how can we turn this around for you”? I said give me my car so I can leave! I have a very long 22 hour drive home and need to get back to my family, dogs and work. I was just down here on vacation for 10 days and needed to get on the road. I could not believe this. I worked, just traveled 1,450 to uber to a dealer to be told they (knowingly) sold my car? Why did they just tell me they sold the car and save me the trip, several hundreds of dollars, my vacation days, to travel to retrieve a vehicle they clearly knew was gone, then the stress that almost sent me to ER. It was to have me sign the form for the Cruze! My two daughters almost made the trip on my behalf! I cannot begin to imagine if they were the ones who got this news delivered to them. Gettel Toyota illegally sold a vehicle they did not attain proper authority or documentation to sell, but THATS OK BY THE LAW and clearly by the company owner Mr. James Gettel. PROTECT YOURSELVES! PROTECT YOU HARD-EARNED MONEY! Respect yourself and do yourself a HUGE favor. RUN FAR AND FAST from ANY Gettel Automotive Dealership - They own 20 throughout Florida. DO NOT BUY A CAR, TRUCK OR SUV from a Gettel Dealership. They are scammers and will strong arm you, confuse you, make you commit to a deal you cannot afford or a deal that ONLY benefits the dealership, not you! I am 57 years old! This was my very first NEW CAR PURCHASE in my lifetime and it was the WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Period! It was too stressful and I paid full sticker price for two (2) brand new 2026 vehicles for a cost of over $100,000. Monthly payments of over $1,650 to be treated with so much disrespect I’m appalled! After crying for many hours, I got a little empathy from Yeral Gonzales. He was kind and showed me compassion. I was angry with myself that I fell for their scam and wasted my time going back down there to be humiliated and embarrassed. Ask yourself. After reading my experience, spending $100,000 purchasing NOT LEASING, 2 vehicles and being treated as such, would you really want to buy a vehicle here? BUY A VEHICLE ELSEWHERE! No negotiating! I paid full sticker for 2 brand new vehicles and was treated this way. Who won in this deal. Clearly not me. I am defeated. I lost my mom’s car. I lost 2 days of work. I lost my self esteem. I was surprised that I only got one set of keys, then expected that I should pay for another set. Left a message for the general manage and never got a phone call back. Also salesman told me that he would call us yo remove a guard from the bumper...never called.

We've purchased two vehicles from Gettel Toyota Bradenton within the past four months. The first transaction was great - 5 stars which is why we returned. The second one was awful. The sales people were great to work with both times and Jonathan in finance was fantastic our first purchase! The kid that did our financing the second time was awful so BUYER BEWARE! To start off, he gave us our initial payment amount which seemed high (the second vehicle we purchased was for our son so was significantly less expensive than the Tundra we purchased earlier in the year). The payment, however, was nearly the same for this much cheaper Corolla & the Tundra? We had to ask what our interest rate was, he told us and it seemed very high. We asked why he didn't go through the credit union (which is who we were financed through with the Tundra). He left the room and no more than 5 minutes later came back with an interest rate of over 2% lower through said credit union. We are confident that he knew he could get us a better rate through the credit union but did not present it to us because he would've made more money off of the higher rate through the bank. The fact that we had to request this was bad enough (that's HIS job), he proceeds to try to tack on multiple warranties that would've added almost $8,000 to an only $22k vehicle. We had just purchased warranties a few months before for the Tundra and they were less than half the price of the warranties he was trying to sell us. Pair that with the fact that a Tundra is 2x more expensive than a Corolla so basic math definitely did not add up. It was obvious that he was either trying to make his weekly paycheck in this one transaction or he was arrogant enough to think that we are incredibly dumb. He was inexperienced and shady, we would never work with him again. Gettel has to understand that their employees represent the entire company and one bad apple can ruin the dealership's reputation. We are unsure if we will revisit in the future, and if so, we will request Jonathan (if he is still there) or we will secure financing on our own through a credit union before visiting the dealership. Potential buyers - be sure to get full transparency from the finance people for warranty price, warranty deductible and interest rate, and if your rate seems high and they haven't submitted it to a credit union - request that they do it!

I had a pretty bad experience at another Toyota service center multiple times, today being one of them. I was trying to get a copy of my service records. I was literally told they were too busy for this and I couldn't get it because they changed computer systems and had no records previous to the change. I hung up and called Gettel Toyota. The girl on the phone ( Blanca ) treated me like a person, not a number and gave me the information I needed to get to the people who could help me. I drove over there and spoke to David in the Service Department who was absolutely amazing! He was knowledgeable, personable, and helped me obtain as much of the records as he had access to, and told me where to go to get the rest. I would work with him any day of the week! Then I went to see Hector (who turned out to be the sales manager). I explained the situation to him and he immediately printed out all of the information I needed. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Turns out he's been there for 19 years! I made sure to tell the manager of this facility that he was blessed to have such people working for him. Every single person with whom I came into contact, who works here, treated me like a human being with needs, rather than a money-making opportunity (which is what I felt I was to the other company). I highly recommend this business! When you walk in the door, the atmosphere is different. Its calm, peaceful, and inviting. I will be bringing my business here from now on. Thank you all for making what was an extremely stressful day become a peaceful one!

Ask for Mick , he was the best. He found the Highlander, color, and accessories we wanted in Toyotas system. Dealership found, transported it. Started on Friday, drove it home Tuesday.

I needed to go to the dealership for recall and, since I was there, an oil change. As I pulled my car in, I was greeted and checked in. Then, drove through what looks like an airport security gate, for the car to be photographed Victor greeted me and confirmed the services. I went in, got a cup of coffee, and set myself down to read in the lounge. Victor kept me informed. And the work was done in a reasonable amount of time A good experience

I had the rear axle, front axle, and gearbox oil changed, as well as issues with the radio and GPS diagnosed and repaired. Everything was resolved successfully.Richard handled the entire process professionally and efficiently. He was knowledgeable, communicated clearly, and made sure all of my concerns were addressed quickly.I will definitely return here for future maintenance and repairs. This has been the best experience I've had with a Toyota dealership in the past five years. Highly recommended!

Quick, great service, great communication!

Good experience. One item: my wipers don’t seem to clear front windshield. Something different about air flow but maybe it’s the weather fogging the glass. I’ll watch it for a while and get back to Toyota if necessary. Otherwise, I was glad to have my car checked.

I have to say that Blair and Eric were wonderful to work with and they made sure that everything was done great. Your receptionists were wonderful also I would highly recommend Toyota Collision and the two guys especially and the workers. Whoever did the painting did a wonderful job also. I understand everyone has their own different experiences with businesses but my experience at Gettel Toyota was not bad at all. When I brought my 21 TRD Taco there because it was overheating they found the problem and fixed it asap (Radiator). I was loaned a beautiful 26 Tacoma to drive until my truck was fixed and it was fixed and ready on the date they gave me. Sabrina was more than exceptional at her job and is the best service person I’ve personally ever dealt with at ANY Toyota dealership I’ve been to and she’s easy on the eyes which let’s be honest, helps a little bit. All in all when forking out thousands of dollars unexpectedly to fix something you wanna find fault and poke at things but I truly had a good experience and I can’t say ANYTHING bad about my time and the service I got done at Gettel Toyota. In closing I will say Toyota is a superior truck and product all around, I’ve been to plenty of Florida mud holes and while every other truck is stuck or broke down my Toyota is riding right on by with no problems.

I keep coming back because I know that the work needed will get done well with my pre-approval of provided Services. If something is suggested that needs attention, that I hadn’t planned on, I am always given the opportunity to have the suggested work done immediately or scheduled for a future date. There has never been any pressure applied but there has always been friendly, and trustworthy service.

The upsell and pressure is too much. If someone (me) comes in for an oil change with a coupon just maybe I don't have hundreds of dollars for repairs the same day.. this is why dealerships have a bad rap.
