My previous review centered on the purchase experience of a Camry coming off lease. Carrie was wonderful and it was an overall pleasant experience. While I'll try not to judge a business based on one individual my recent experience with a service rep, Briana, was far from acceptable. I called the dealership several weeks ago to arrange an oil change and get an update on the air bag recall. Briana promised to get right back to me with more information but three days later still no return call. I followed up and Briana told me that she took a few days off (her schedule indicated she'd be working). No new information was supposedly available on the recall so I asked for her direct extension and that I would call her in a couple of weeks. I did call as indicated and left a message. After no return call for another few days I went to the dealership site and requested a service appointment and planned to get any update on the recall when I arrived. Almost a week later she called me with no apology for the late response only to say she noticed I had already booked an appointment and that she had taken a vacation. When I told her I was upset that there was no return call and that no one covered for her while she was vacationing she attempted to deflect these shortcomings and implied it was my fault. She said that I could have called someone else and then went so far as to ask if I returned calls when I go on vacation. The answer is YES, when I was working I returned calls when on vacation and I also left a voicemail message with TWO additional contacts in the case of an emergency (with phone numbers and email addresses). This is a customer satisfaction business and to blame a customer for her/the dealership's shortcomings is ridiculous and incredibly poor oversight/training. Perhaps this was a back-to-back coincidence but not returning calls as promised or following up in a timely basis is totally unacceptable.

Outstanding i had my Rav4 in for its check up.
Outstanding i had my Rav4 in for its check up. From the time I pulled my car in till I left everyone spoke politely and positively I would like to hilight 2 persons however. Monica Balley was extremely helpful. She was cheerful and just made me feel good. I explained that I didn’t understand some things relating to the screen with the maps, contacts etc. She immediately had Kiko Mayes come and help me. He was very polite, positive and cheerful. He took time to explain things to me. Thiugh all the staff that I had contact with were good these two, Monica and Kiko were outstanding

This has the worst serivce i've ever experieced.
This has the worst serivce i've ever experieced. I bought my care from this dealership and got the pre-paid service plan. Every time i come for an oil change they leave you waiting in your car for 15 minutes before the come out and check you in, then it takes them more than 1.5 hours for them to do the service. I've had my car for over 4 years not and i counting the days till my pre-paid plan is over so i can never come to this dealership again. All the do is make you waste you time in a lobby full of sales people that all they do is want and absolutely no business is done.

Only one person could answer any questions? The estimator. Very frustrating and not kept up-to-date. I was told approximately 10 days for my car and it took 25!! Doesn't seem to be enough help. Also my car had good size scuffs & scratches from your center and I had to wait longer than necessary again for someone to look at my car and then get it buffed. Who wants to take a car in to have body work done only to pick it up with more body work needing to be done? All in all disappointed with my service.

Paint work done in collision center. Damaged a different area - requires me to bring it back. Interior dirty - they cleaned it. Seat belt didn't operate correctly - took 2 times to fix. Stopped at store on the way home - car was dead. Turns out the battery cable was loose and the terminal cover off. Fortunately didn't fall off the engine.

Chris is an amazing advisor. I would not take my car to anyone else. I love the transparency I get with Gettel Toyota of Bradenton and their staff. This dealer Has always provided great service except for one time when the advisor gave me a lot of false info…but, they may be getting sloppy. There is a large turnover in service personnel. The tech left the cover off my cabin filter cover and I had to fix it myself. They let me out with a service check showing low break fluid without advising me and without adding fluid. And, they have become chintzy. I know dealer prices are higher; they include overhead nd profit that pays for good technicians nd nice place to wait…but, when service charges range over one hundreds dollars at the very least,to add a credit card fee on top of prices that certainly includes that cost as part of the overhead? She’ll, that is just beneath contempt. Why? What is the point? I think maybe Gettel has lost its way.

I recently had the displeasure of trying to do business with Gettel Toyota of Bradenton. While trying to work a deal on a used car that was listed online for a specific price, this dealer repeatedly gave me sales menus pricing the car higher than its advertised price, by at least a thousand dollars or more. Thee BDC manager Priscilla Villafuerte, sent me multiple menus stating that this was their best offer regardless I had pointed out on several occasions that their price did not reflect what it was very publicly being offered for online. I then received a generic email from the General Manager of the store Damian Gonzalez, I took the opportunity to explain why I’ve not yet purchased the vehicle that he was emailing about about and the dealerships sales tactics because nobody in their right mind wants or needs $3000 worth of “Gettel Advantage” products which have nothing to do with the actual car artificially inflating the price of the car those very same $3000. It’s pure profit to the dealer if anybody wasn’t sure. So due to the intangible products (Gettel Advantage) and the sale price of the vehicle not being honored or matching what it’s listed for online, the price was $4000-$5000more than it should have been because they’re being greedy and unethical. So thank you Damian Gonzalez and the others at Gettel Toyota of Bradenton for giving me the opportunity to shop for a 4Runner and find much better offers elsewhere and Damian you sent a other email encouraging me to leave the dealership a review, so here you are.

I had a great experience buying a new 2024 Sienna at Gettel Toyota of Bradenton. Daisy Valle responded right away to my online inquiry. Soon after, I received all the information I requested and quotes from Priscilla Villafuerte. Priscilla kept in touch with me and we were able to secure a deal for my trade in with Ryan. When I arrived at the dealership, Michael Dephoure had an assortment of things already done for me ahead of time, which resulted in me getting in and out pretty quickly with my new Sienna. Max from finance was polite and made the finance and signing process effortless. I think overall this has been the smoothest interaction I have had with a dealer when it comes to acquiring a new vehicle.

it seemed like there was way more work than the workers
it seemed like there was way more work than the workers could handle . it was difficult for Larry to tell me when starting the work was going to happen. He also had a hard time knowing when it was to be finished . i know you are swamped but i still would have appreciated better communication. It's a brand new car and they did a great job on the work they did ,just like off the show room and drives amazing.

I purchased a car in Sept of 2024 with Gettel. I did not receive copies of my paperwork after the purchase. I tried 3 times to get the finance office to send me electronic copies but had no luck. Then during tax season (April 2025), I reached out with 5 voice mails and two emails (one to the finance manger and one to the general manager). I never got a single response. This is such BAD business to not respond to my inquiries. I will NEVER purchase a car from this dealership again nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

I purchased a new car from Gettel more than a year ago.
I purchased a new car from Gettel more than a year ago. At the time, they were only able to provide one key. Prior to my last service, in January 2024, I was told that my key was available. However, after my oil change, etc., they didn't have time to program it that day. So, I returned last week for it to be programmed. Luis took my car back to the service center. A little over an hour later, he returned to tell me that they were short-staffed, and it would likely be two more hours before my key was ready. I had an appointment I had to get to, so I asked for my car and left without the key for the second time. Luis was very professional and polite, but the service center has failed twice now.

I miss the outstanding service I received from Steve, who I was saddened to hear is no longer with Gettel. However, my first experience with David was great! I appreciated the call at the one hour mark with an update. He was kind, professional, and detailed in explaining the slight delay in the service completion on my vehicle. I would like to make a recommendation. When I drove up into the service bay, there were six employees standing around. One gentleman directed me where to park. But when I got out of my vehicle, not a single personal acknowledged me, or welcomed me, or even looked my way. Where’s the love? Where are the smiles? I did not feel welcome. It wasn’t until David came out from the building was I greeted and felt I was seen. The six were busy on their phones. Not a good image.
